Scriptures:  Ecc. 5:3, Prov. 29:18, Rom. 5:3-5 (AMP) Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), Jeremiah 25:5-11, 29, 1-5, 14, Prov. 13:12, Hab. 1:12-17, 2:2-3 (NLT), Prov. 23:7, 9, 12, 17-18 (NKJV)

When you awake in the morning what do you see?  Do you see the Creator’s creation for your future or do you see nothing?  Whatever it might be, ask yourself the question does it induce feelings of confident expectation or doubt and unbelief?

In the Amplified Version, Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision (redemptive revelation of God) the people perish.” We perish from a lack of hope when insight and foreknowledge of God's plan is absent. Being redeemed from our current situation and propelled into a more hopeful and significant set of circumstances appear afar off when we have no dreams, goals, ambition or vision.

You see, God given dreams and visions are supernatural glimpses of hope into the purpose and future for our lives. In transitioning from visionless to vision-full hope, do not become sidetracked when others appear to be prospering; remain hope-full in God’s plan to prosper you. In other words, vision is crucial in the life of a believer because it’s the birthing of self through God’s eyes; God’s preference over what our lives should mimic.

Someone once stated a profound truth which said, “the first person you lead is you and the first organ you master is your mind.” In short, the root of our hopelessness towards our vision stems from our wasting our thoughts on those who do not hunger for them. Similarly, whatever you focus on you will attract, and if you see nothing, you will attract nothing on any level.

Vision to the believer is hope for a preferred future and assist in perfecting saints. Faith in your vision is given for the maintaining of hope. Hope is given for the sustaining of your vision when the seen is not seen by everyone else!
