Scriptures:  Matthew 29:1-10, Mark 16:9-18 and John 14:1-3

Although there remains much debate over the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, there are still only two choices; acceptance or denial of the truth. In other words, we can spend a lifetime explaining Jesus away or acknowledge the incontrovertible truth and spend eternity with Him.

In today's society and even in Christendom, being faith related and not relationally connected has become fashionable. When Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life" he was saying, the idiom of how he might appear is irrelevant, but rather when he comes will you believe?

Jesus' words showed that the way to eternal life, though unseen is secure through faith and trust in him. Since Jesus has already prepared the way for eternal life, through our unconditional willingness to believe the issue can be resolved.

Scriptures:  Matthew 21:1-11, Isaiah 62:11-12, John 12:15-19, Leviticus 23:40:44 and Acts 3:22-26

On Sunday April 1st, absent knowing and understanding the passion of Christ, millions of churchgoers celebrated Palm Sunday in commemoration of Christ’s triumphal entry on the back of a donkey’s colt under a canopy of palm branches into Jerusalem.

Perhaps the evasiveness in which we as believers delve into the temporal excitement of the multitude is because; we too encounter Him, as opposed to intimately experiencing Him.  Too often we focus on the palms rather than the passion of the recipient.

In preparation for Holy Week, might we consider not allowing our accolades to be short lived before an unbelieving world; but rather living passionately for our Lord who is not willing to live without us?
