About Bishop Michael Pittman
Bishop Michael (“Bishop Mike”) Pittman is Senior Pastor of Refreshing Springs Global Church of God ("RSGCOG") and husband to his life and ministry partner, Apostle Dr. Tiajuana Pittman. A native of Enfield, North Carolina, he became intimately intertwined with “Psalms 23” — “The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall not want” when Jesus healed his eyes and made him whole!
Mandated to dispel character assassination and ethnic biases among individuals from diverse backgrounds, he encourages others to see their potential through God’s eyes and not the portals of others. A consummate teacher of the Word, he educates and empowers others to have their minds sanitized and renewed through the simplicity of God’s Word.
As a passionate conveyor of God’s Word, he mentors, nurtures and disciples individuals from hopelessness into grace-filled parameters of self-examination. He remains vigilant about equipping people with the knowledge and understanding of having intimacy with the Word of God. He is committed to bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to people all over the world, literally exposing the ineffable benefits of having intimacy with God’s Word one person at a time.
He is Founder and President of Strait Talkin' With Pastor Michael ("STWPM"). He and his co-host Prophet Shâmar Harrison of H.E.L.P. ministries meet weekly with men of all ethnicity, ages, race and socio-economic backgrounds to unapologetically confront iron sharpening topics about character, accountability, covenant, sex, integrity, marriage and much more. His greatest desire is to create an environment where transparency among men is not an option and where transformation takes place at the root!
Known for his ineffable wisdom and practical approach to the Word of God, he passionately pursues exposing others to Grace the Person; Jesus Christ! He and his wife, Apostle Dr. Tiajuana have five adult children, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and currently reside in Maryland.
